Craft Area

I like to think that I am a pretty easy-going person. I can usually laugh about most things and easily go with the flow; a free-spirit if you will.

Although I may appear that way on the outside, I definitely have an inner Type-A within me. It comes out when I see organizing drawers, Lysol, and color coded closets.

I am a little bit of an organization and neat freak.

My brain just automatically wants to sort and organize things. It makes me think more clearly and be more productive.

I thought I’d give you a glimpse into my craft space. It takes over about half of my bedroom, and I love it. Whenever I walk into my room I feel inspired and at peace. Hopefully you can pick up an idea or two to use in your own craft space, or any space for that matter.

I like to keep a notebook and my planner open on my desk. It makes it easier to glance at to see what needs to be done on any particular day. Plus it is fun to highlight the things I have accomplished.

I think of this as my inspiration corner. I have a wall calendar, my vision board, an favorite song lyric I painted on the wall, and a small bulletin board.

These are my drawers that hold all my craft supplies. I helps to sort them by different type of craft or supply.

I made labels out of leftover scrapbook paper, and then just taped them on with scotch tape.

These little trays are great to keep small items like buttons and bobbins in. I think they cost about a dollar at Wal-Mart. Score.

This is where I keep the sewing machine that I stole borrowed from my little sister.

I am off to work my last day before the weekend. I hope you are having a great Wednesday so far.

Are you an organized person? What is something that comes naturally to you?
